Personal data

Personal data is data which concerns your person. This includes your name, address and email address. You are also not required to disclose personal data in order to visit our Internet site. In a small number of cases, we require your name and address, as well as additional information, so that we can provide you with the requested service.

The same applies in case we provide you with requested information or when we answer your queries. In such cases, we will always inform you of this. Otherwise, we only save the data which you have provided us with automatically or voluntarily.

Should you use one of our servers, we generally only collect the data which is necessary in order to provide you with our service. We may request further information from you, which you may provide voluntarily. Whenever we process personal data, we do this in order to be able to provide you with our service or in order to pursue our commercial objectives.

Automatically stored data

Server log files

The site provider collects and stores information automatically in so-called server log files that are transmitted to us by your browser automatically. These are:

A combination of these data with other data sources will not be made. Processing takes place according to art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO on the basis of our legitimate interest in the improvement of the stability and functionality of our website.
These data will be stored for a short time for reasons of technical security, in particular for defending attack attempts to our web server. A conclusion to individual persons is not possible for us using these data. The data will be made anonymous not later than seven days by abbreviating the IP address on domain level so that it is not possible to make a reference to the individual user. Besides this, the data will be processed for statistical purposes in anonymous form; a matching with other stored data or forwarding to third parties, even extracts, will not be made. Only a presentation of the number of page impressions will be made within the scope of our server statistics that will be made public every two years in our activity report.

Cookies

When you visit our Internet sites, we may save information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files which are transferred to your browser from an Internet server and on whose hard drive they are saved. Only the Internet protocol address is saved during this process - no personal data. This information which is saved in the cookies allows you to automatically be recognised again next time you visit our Internet site. This makes the use of our Internet site easier for you. Legal basis for the use of cookies is the legitimate interest according to art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Of course, you can also visit our Internet sites without accepting cookies. Should you not wish for your computer to be recognised again next time you visit, you can also reject the use of cookies by altering the settings in your browser to “reject cookies”. You can find the respective procedure in the user instructions of your respective browser. Should you reject the use of cookies, this may however lead to restrictions when using certain areas of our Internet sites.

Customer account

We set up a password-protected direct access to his user-related data (customer account) stored by us for each customer who has registered accordingly. You can manage your personal and address data here. You commit yourself to treat your access data confidential and protect it against disclosure to unauthorised third parties. We cannot assume any liability for misused passwords, unless we are responsible for this misuse. This service allows customers to have messages sent to the entered e-mail address as well as e-mail addresses of other persons. These messages will not be sent automatically, but only upon own configuration by authorised users. It is in the responsibility of the customer which addresses will be entered. These data will not be read out, stored or used for other purposes by us.
